I’m Stacy.
Let’s skip the fluff.
I’m Stacy. Let’s skip the fluff.
I’m Stacy Rodriguez, ARNP, a nurse practitioner with a background in bedside nursing, trauma and critical care. I loved taking care of patients. I was considerably less enthusiastic about spending the end of my shift documenting everything I’d just spent the shift doing.
I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to Tampa in 1997 on a full academic scholarship to the University of Tampa. After studying biochemistry, I earned a second bachelor’s degree in nursing at Kent State and an MSN at the University of South Florida. I graduated summa cum laude from all three.
My experience also includes three years in gynecology and women’s health and 15 years in cosmetic medicine, from injectables and laser treatments to skincare. My training includes platelet-rich plasma (PRP) procedures, including the O-Shot, P-Shot and Vampire Facial. I now reserve hands-on aesthetic treatments for select private concierge patients.

Useful. Honest. Never one-dimensional.
Useful. Honest. Never one-dimensional.
The frustration with documentation followed me into practice as a nurse practitioner. Over the years, it became more obvious that I wanted a different way to work. I wanted time to understand what was happening in someone’s life, what they were worried about and what they could realistically manage once our appointment was over.
Today, through Concierge Collaborative, I have more room to practice that way. I can talk through options, consider cost and work with patients on a plan that fits their lives. I actually have time to make it personal. The flexibility makes my own life better, too.
I take my responsibility to patients seriously. I also think we should be able to have a normal conversation. You can tell me what you’ve read online, what you’re embarrassed to ask or why a recommendation isn’t working for you. I want the honest answer. It’s a lot more useful than the answer you think I’m expecting.
The No BS Edit is where I get to bring more of that conversation outside the appointment. I’ll be writing about health, beauty and the everyday choices that go into taking care of ourselves, along with the things I’m learning and questioning. I have opinions about all of it, as you’ll probably notice.
I’m especially interested in AI and what it could help us do. I’m excited by the possibility of spending less time on clerical work and more time learning and caring for people. I also know it can get things wrong. Checking the information is still my responsibility.
I want this space to be useful, whether you’re here for a health question, a beauty topic or a different perspective. You don’t need my entire life story before we get to the point. But now you know who’s talking.
